Leveraging Atlanta’s successful implementation and Georgia’s existing relationship with MUTW, a statewide Georgia initiative could serve as a bridge between the initial Atlanta installation and broader national rollout. This project would focus on implementing Wheeldestrian™ technology across multiple Georgia municipalities, particularly in cities and counties with inadequate ADA accommodations—addressing the issue discovered by Dr. Brown’s team when they found as few as 20 ADA accommodations in their own Georgia city.
A state-level initiative would create a comprehensive case study demonstrating how the technology can be systematically deployed across varied community sizes, from small towns to major cities, while establishing state-level policies that support innovation and accessibility. This coordinated approach would position Georgia as a national leader in disability-inclusive infrastructure and provide a replicable model for other states considering similar standardization efforts.
